Holger is a member of Forrester's Business Technology Futures team, which serves CIOs and their business partners by predicting the long-term business impact of information technology. His research focus is on smart computing and analytics and as-a-service business models, analyzing trends and key paradigm shifts in the business process and software application market. In his research, Holger covers all application software, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer resource management (CRM), software configuration management (SCM), business intelligence (BI), and industry-specific applications. With 12-plus years of deep industry expertise, Holger also focuses on the IT trends and opportunities in the energy market.
Holger publishes for and consults with CIOs on all aspects of a successful strategy, including partner management and business models in a time of disruptive trends such as cloud computing, social media, sustainability, and next-generation smart solutions. Holger is based in Forrester's Frankfurt office but advises vendors and users around the world.
Warren Ross Softtek Global Director of Cloud Services
Mr. Ross has two decades of executive experience in technology marketing, technical product management, product marketing, and technical business management.
Currently at Softtek as a Global Director of Cloud Services, Ross is responsible for all Softtek Cloud offerings, including product management, product marketing and partner operations. Before Softtek, he was at Capgemini as Global Director for ITO responsible for all product management and product marketing for a €2.7 Billion (in revenue) managed services line that encompassed all data center and desktop managed services. While at Capgemini, he was responsible for the definition and for bringing cloud service offerings to market. At start-up company Archivas, Ross was responsible for marketing and product marketing for a software storage archival technology company that was purchased by industry leader Hitachi Data Services. Ross was also instrumental in helping build another successful start-up, Nexus Energy Software.
Ross wrote the business plan for and was Product Manager of one of the first 5 transactional based web sites in the world, Travelocity.com. He was an engineer in the US Navy and worked for the US National Science Foundation on the continent of Antarctica (as a civilian engineer) for 1 year as a member of the US Antarctic Research Program. He holds a BS in Business Administration and a BA in Economics from Connecticut State University and an MBA from the Babson Olin Graduate School of Business.
